01 The format

Everybody plays
everybody

Round robin pool play, then a playoff bracket with single elimination.

Round robin first

Every team plays every other team in the pool.

Then the bracket

Pool play sets the seeding, then it's single elimination throughout the playoffs, all the way to the championship.

Officiated properly

Certified officials, a dedicated scorekeeper and scoreboards.

Men's rec only, ages 16 and up. Players under 18 are welcome, but a parent or guardian has to sign their waiver before they step on the floor. A minor can't sign for himself.

FAQ

What does the $600 cover?

Court time, certified refs, scorekeeping and awards for the winner. It's charged per team, and nothing is due until the date is confirmed and you've claimed a spot.

Can a 16- or 17-year-old play?

Yes, with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Bring the signed form to check-in or send it ahead. Without it, your player has to sit. Every player brings a photo ID for age verification.

When and where is it?

A single Saturday at an indoor gym in Dallas–Fort Worth. We're finalizing the date and venue now — everyone on the list hears before it's announced publicly, and gets first call on the eight to ten spots.
